Author Biography

Devoney Looser, Arizona State University

Devoney Looser, Professor of English at Arizona State University, is the author of two books, Women Writers and Old Age in Great Britain, 1750–1850 and British Women Writers and the Writing of History, 1670–1820, and the co-editor of Generations: Academic Feminists in Dialogue. Her essay on Frances Burney in old age recently appeared in Eighteenth-Century Life.
